Callbacks by invitation only:
Tuesday, April 12, 2011, 6:30pm sharp

For the open audition you will need to present a prepared one minute monologue from any Shakespeare play,  plus a non-Shakespeare cold read given to you when you arrive. The callbacks will be from sides from The Comedy Of Errors script. If your work is already known to John Stuart, you may get permission to skip the open audition and proceed to callbacks. Rehearsals start Tuesday, April 26, and will run Tuesday & Thursday evenings, plus Sunday afternoons. Time will be taken off for the FVZ Festival and Theatre BC’s Mainstage 2011.

Setting in the 1920s—Men will be in “gangster” costumes, and women will be similar to “flappers”.

SOLINUS, Duke of Ephesus—male, age 30 +
AEGEON, a Merchant of Syracuse—male, age 40+

ANTIPHOLUS OF EPHESUS & ANTIPHOLUS OF SYRACUSE
        Twin brothers born to Aegeon and Aemelia, but unknown to each other.—two males, age 20+

DROMIO OF EPHESUS & DROMIO OF SYRACUSE
        Twins, and attendants on the two Antipholuses.– two males or two females—age 20+

BALTHAZAR, a Merchant—male, age 20+
ANGELO, a Goldsmith—male or female, age 20+.

A MERCHANT, friend to Antipholus of Syracuse, male, age 20+.

PINCH, a Schoolmaster and a Conjurer—male or female, age 20+
AEMILIA, Wife to Aegeon, an Abbess at Ephesus—female, age 40+

ADRIANA, Wife to Antipholus of Ephesus—female, age 20+

LUCIANA, Adriana’s Sister—female, age 20+

LUCE, Adriana’s Servant—male or female, age 20+
