Gordon Kirkland will MC and perform at a special concert for Haiti this Saturday from 2:00 – 5:00 at the Arts Centre Theatre in Maple Ridge. The proceeds from the concert will all go to the purchase of Shelterboxes (http://www.shelterbox.ca/) for the victims of the horrific earthquake in Haiti last week. The show is sponsored by the local Rotary clubs. The Board of the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Arts Council held a special vote yesterday and passed a motion to waive the rental fees. Admission is by donation.
