As you know, last fall the provincial government significantly cut funding to the arts and other non-profit sectors across BC. Like thousands of other BC organizations (Emerald Pig included), the Arts Council and other Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows community organizations have been affected by these cuts.

6th Annual Pocket Picker Pub Party a was a Prilliant Puccess!

Thanks to everyone for their support of the 6th Annual Emerald Pig Pocket Picker Pub Party! A great time was had by all and over $1300 was raised to help fund our upcoming season. Thanks to Aaron Davis and Ham Awry for the improv, to Lucille Gibeault for her invaluable assistance on the 50/50 draw and to Kathleen Hatley, for all she does!!! A BIG thanks also to Christina at the Maple Ridge Legion for the fabulous food!
