Some are born to the spotlight, others to play quietly in the shadows. The actors may get the applause, but there would be no hands clapping without the dedicated players behind the scenes. Nor without the continued support of businesses and individuals, who recognize the value and contribution of the arts to our community. We are all part of the community. We live, work, play, shop, and support our community. This is the spirit of community theatre. This is YOUR community theatre. Come out and play!
Greetings thespians of all ilks!
The EPTS continues offering stellar productions this coming year with "A Christmas Carol", "A Particular Class of Women", and "Loves Labors Lost." We are constantly on the search for talented, dedicated, and helpful people to act, crew, produce, and lead our merry (motley?) band. To that end we invite you all to attend and celebrate our last, very successful season, and learn how you can get involved in making Maple Ridge a destination for excellent live theatre.
The Emerald Pig Theatrical Society is holding its 2011 Annual General meeting on Sept 24th. The meeting starts at 4:00pm and will be followed by a bring-your-own-protein BBQ.
We will discuss the highlights of the year - successes and challenges (rain!) - and elect our 2011-2012 board of directors. Then we'll eat!
FREEEEEEE! Come on out for a night of Free stand-up comedy at the ACT in Maple Ridge.
